Social Media Coordinator

As the social media coordinator for Dover Saddlery’s Buffalo location, I was able to gain hands-on experience in organizing and curating content that resonated with our customer base across different platforms. Monitoring trends within the equestrian community, my goal was to create engaging posts that not only showcased new products but developed a sense of community.

We couldn’t help but share how obsessed we are with Horseware Ireland’s Pink Collection 🩷, featuring the Newmarket Fleece Cooler!

You can now find the LeMieux Ponies’ with all their accessories in our store! 🙈💁‍♀️

For the visuals.

In this position, I was able to develop my videography and editing skills, producing visually appealing content that displayed product features in the format of short reels.

Engagement.

Having direct access to platform insights, including metrics such as views, comments, saves, and followers gained from specific posts, I was able to track the performance of each post. This gave me valuable feedback on what content was resonating with our audience, allowing me to refine our strategy accordingly.

It was especially rewarding when customers would come into the store and share that our content was the inspiration for their purchase. This direct connection between online engagement and in-store traffic highlighted the impact of our social media presence.

Boots? Check. Helmet? Check. Camp prep mode is activated and we are ready for you! 💪

We are so excited to have the Ellsworth hairnets in the store! These give you the sleek look while eliminating any excess hairnet bunching in the back! Even better- you never have to search for another hair tie again!

Here are three hairstyles you can wear next time you gear up to ride

Make sure your tack is looking and feeling its best featuring @effol_effax

What’s your favorite tack cleaning hack?

We’ve been taking down our blankets this week to make room for fly sheets so we figured we’d show you some ways to store your blankets for the next season! 💪

We recommend holding on to the bags your blankets come in but a clean shavings bag will do the trick as well! Comment if you have any tips to share 😊

Community.

Highlighting tutorials and educational posts allowed me to become a trusted resource for our customers and any newcomers to the sport. I strived to give customers more confidence in their buying decisions and in their day-to-day equestrian lives.
